Cognitive Perspective-  Focuses on the process of I.Q rather than on the amount.  Sternberg’s Triarchic Theory (1985-1991) Emotional Intelligence, Goleman (1990)  Consists of the ability to perceive and express emotion, to assimilate emotion in though, to understand and reason with emotion and to regulate emotion. Test Construction-  Standardization- a standardized or uniform procedure whereby the original test questions are administered to a large group in order to:  A.) produce questions that can discriminate among people.  B.) to provide a set of standards or norms by which to judge what individual scores
