Labour and social inequality- analyzing made in china article. Made in china, chapter: marching from the village focuses strictly on a new class of workers that have developed in china. The reading focuses on women, mainly young girls, which leave rural areas of life and migrate to the city to find industrial production jobs that earn them money and allow for a separation of non-modern life. The stories of some of the young woman reminded me of theories we repeatedly learn in the course. This article was quite interesting to me because while i was reading through the chapter i found that i was able to connect to real life examples of capitalism theories. Through the personal stories of the young women, never does the author receive criticism of the work that they perform.
