Sociologist may differ from theoretical orientation, research interest but they are all contemporary. Sociologists that share a common core knowledge base. Core sociological knowledge base: a set of fundamental concepts, skills, and topic that are available to all sociologists think differently about the world. Everyday common sense deliberately constructs tools for sociologists to help reflect on the meaning and signification of the social world we live in: to help us understand human social behaviour. Sociologists may rely on three skill sets: complex and critical thinking skill, research skills, and theorizing skills. Race and ethnicity, gender, sexuality, social media and social class are but some of the many things. Reality is said to be a species specific, there is no such thing as a all across reality. For humans it is a immediate thing (reality) but frogs it is not. Reality is strongly shaped by the social world in which we are raised and live.
