What are criminal investigation, criminal evidence, and forensic science: criminal investigation is the process of collecting crime related information to reach certain goals. Activities that are performed by the officers, detectives, or other investigators who are responsible for the investigation. Most common activities include searching for witnesses and victims, interviewing witnesses and victims, reading reports, writing reports. Consists of supposed facts and knowledge that relate to a particular crime or perpetrator. It is obtained as a result of investigative activities and is used to establish that a crime occurred and that a specific person committed the crime.
