Sociologist concerns- inequality of poor, racial/ethnic groups, women, gays/lesbians. Public sociology: sociological work addressed to a wide range of audiences, most of which are outside the academy, including a variety of local, national, and global groups. No social change is as important as globalization b/c it is continually affecting all aspects of the social world everywhere on the globe.
