Gospel of mark: 9-15: jesus takes peter, john and james up the mountain where he transfigured before them and begin to converse with elijah and moses. The 2 that accompanied jesus were terrified and offered to build a shelter for jesus, moses and elijah. God announces that jesus is his son and that they should follow him. Jesus orders that the 3 men do don"t say anything until the sin of god has died. The healing of a boy with an evil spirit: jesus and the 3 disciples return from the mountain to a crowd. There is a man"s son that is possessed and the other disciples couldn"t command the spirit out. Jesus commands the spirit out of the boy. They leave in secret and jesus tells the disciples that he will be turned over to men, betrayed, killed and rise in three days. Who is the greatest: disciples arguing over who is the greatest.
