Journal number 3 (Chapter 4)
In journal number three I will be writing about chapter four which is about the
Federalism. In chapter four the Federalism system is the one who runs the government. The
Federal government get their power from the state government, and the Federalism shows the
sharing relationship of power. There are different things to do with their power sharing because
they share power for example, federal tax and state tax. The reason why we have power sharing
is for National government to respect the state government and won’t have to overrule one other
and respect what they come up for their own. State laws are different because each state is
different, and they run thing different. The reason why they have their own rules is because every
state sees things differently and have different benefits from their own rules because they believe
it does not affect their state or dies affect their state. An example of a state law would be in North
Carolina who is known for Tabaco. This state does not have a law to prohibit smoking in public
places or anywhere unless they believe is not allow at a certain place because they consume a lot
of tobacco. However, in California has much more restriction in smoking compared to North
Carolina because compared to the consumers in North Carolina we do not consume as much and
will do not benefit compared to North Carolina. As we can tell every state come up with their
own rules in order for us the people to benefit from our own good or for the state to benefit on
their own good. Without having states creating their own laws will not allow each state to benefit
from their own good or have their own way to protect their people.
When a state and Federal class, Federal government super seeds Federal government
because they are in higher position than the state government. The Federal government does not
have supersede water and powers because it is provided by the local government. The state
controls their won things in order to help themselves. The reason why they control their own
things would be because they will see their own benefit to benefit from everyone for the state to
become wealthier than the usual. The state sees their own benefits if they control what they have
and provide for everyone else and know what should be the price ranges for everyone.
Federalism power sharing between state government and federal government. The state
distinctions that are allowing the state to make their own laws. The fittest state is Colorado and
the fattest sate would be Mississippi.
The drinking age at Louisiana is 18 years old compared to California is 21 years old. The
reasons why the state made this law was for their own benefit of the state. The benefits of their
own sate would be for cultural, economy and socially. All these threes are different benefits for
the state culturally for the people and how they have been adapted, economically because it will
benefit them for young people to keep buying drinks in order to make much more money. These
are the reasons why the state has made their own condition. States make laws on their own
interest and benefit in order to have a good consumption for the state.
Overall its has been a great benefit with the power sharing for one another in order to not
get one each other’s business with the state from one another because everyone sees their own
benefit. Seeing their own benefits help each state for their interest which is why each state should
have their one right to create their own laws knows their own state than themselves, therefore
there is no reason for one big government to make their own laws or decisions because that
would bring different conflicts because one law will not benefit every state because they all have
different interest. Although, not every state will make the right laws , when they are big
