Seeing brain images can influence peoples understanding of their own body and mental health. In which one experiences ones brain as if one drugs, as a new form of objective self-fashioning. Pet scan symbolizes science, progress, biological selves, digital imaging, and technical powers. But they also divide us and signal human differences measuring our deviation from. There comes a point where we no longer ask for an explanation or test "the truth" the explanations simply comes to an end. Thus we accept that the brain determines mental illness or health, and that reading is related to our brain activity. Thus our objective self, consists of our taken-for-granted notions, theories, and tendencies regarding human bodies, brains, and normalcy. Thus the circulation of so called "facts" about our brains and what defines insane, sane, and in-between influences our objective selfs. The use of pet scans produces the identification of groups as brain types.
