If the attachment becomes traumatic, it can lead to a disorganized bond and, in some cases, serious disorders. Therefore, prevention, education for future parents, and even specialized clinical intervention programs are essential in order to acquire a secure attachment as soon as possible. Dr. john bowlby, a child psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, developed attachment theory. This theory describes how early experiences and the relationship with the first figure to link influence the child"s development. His work was highly influenced by the studies of konrad lorenz (instinctive theory), where it was verified how birds develop a very strong bond with the mother, without food being involved.
