Inner self one that we keep private and may reflect how we really feel about ourselves. Individuals feel more comfortable expressing their true inner self when on the internet. An individual"s self-concept influences how one views or interprets social interactions. Self-regulation the capacity to exercise choice and initiation : allows us to pursue and engage in goal-directed activity. Individuals reporting higher levels of self-regulation were more likely to exhibit accommodation: how one communicates effectively and appropriately with others.
