If america is the great melting pot, then planet earth is the great melting kettle. Earth consists of seven continents and over 195 countries, all of which are laced with their very own languages, customs, and ways of life. Although these places seem to be very distinctive from each other, it is at their roots that they are intertwined. What draws humans together is not where they are from or what they practice or even what they believe, but their faith in their own existence. The distance created by rivers and oceans and even political borders is incapable of penetrating the common ground that is shared among humans on earth. When a nigerian can come to the united states of america and still find a sense of home, the truth in the great. Melting kettle becomes something that we should not only observe but treasure. Nigeria is a country that elicits many misconceptions.
