Gross national income: refers to income a country"s companies receive from overseas, countries that are already rich will get richer. Very shallow: ice age caused the sea level to drop, all of the sea water was trapped as ice, why did capitalism happen here and not somewhere else, historical landscapes, greeks, foundation of many european cities. Names of cities traveled down into modern day: roman empire. Came along much later than other empires. Not based on capitalist principles: medieval europe, feudal system. Industrialization: technology systems, three waves, britain, northwestern europe, the rest of europe, golden triangle, europe"s industrial core, wealthiest part of europe, still to this day, not just from industrialization.
