Gross national income: refers to income a country"s companies receive from overseas, countries that are already rich will get richer. Names of cities traveled down into modern day: roman empire. Came along much later than other empires. Not based on capitalist principles: medieval europe, feudal system. Industrialization: technology systems, three waves, britain, northwestern europe, the rest of europe, golden triangle, europe"s industrial core, wealthiest part of europe, still to this day, not just from industrialization.
