What is the difference between newspapers and magazines: newspapers have a geographic based audience, magazines have a content based audience, magazines are more personal than newspapers: they have a personality, a voice. Stage 2- the designer works with the story components to create a story layout. Stage 3- team reviews, and moves into editing phase. Their goal: functional design: attract the reader, organize the information, create attractive and interesting package, establish recognition for publication.
