Polytheism: (hinduism) belief and worship of multi gods& in multiple forms. Monotheism : (islam) belief and worship in 1 god. Church: institutionalized organization of people who share common religious beliefs. Sect: religious groups that broke away from parent church, rejecting or deemphasizing contemporary society. church vs. sect. church is more conventional, while sect is less conventional. Ex: more church like methodist, more sect are.
