Classism- social class is defined by such factors as income, occupation, and education. Heterosexism- bias against anyone who is not exclusively heterosexual. Liberal feminism- goal of gender equality, can achieve goal by passing laws that guarantee equal rights. Cultural feminism- emphasizes positive qualities presumed to be stronger in women than in men, believes society should be restructured to emphasize cooperation rather than aggression. Radical feminism- argues the basic cause of (cid:405)omen"s oppression lies deep in the entire sex and gender system, believes our society needs to dramatically change its policies on sexulaity and on violence against women. Women-of-color feminism- points out the other three types of feminism overemphasizes gender, believes that we must pay attention to other human dimensions such as ethnicity and social class.
