Hand held computer are industry specific and serve the needs of mobile employees such as ups or warehouse employees. A server is a computer dedicated to proving one or more servers to other computers or devices on a network. Services provided by servers including storing content and controlling access to hardware, software and other resources. Dedicated serves preform a specific service and can be placed with other dedicated servers to perform multiple services. Can support 2-several thousand computers at a time. Depending on function a server may or may not require a monitor or input device. A rack server is a sever that is housed in a slot or bay on a metal frame (rack). A rack contains multiple servers each in a diff bay. A blade server is a server in the form of a single circuit board. The individual blades insert in the blade server chassis.
