The health workforce includes all health professions and workers who contribute to the delivery of health care. Includes people who don"t work in health care delivery but provide health services in homes and other places. Home care aids, personal care assistants, school nurses. In 2012 these total occupations included 13 million people around 1 out of 12 workers in the us. Unlicensed nursing assistants are the 2nd largest hc job with 1. 4 million workers. Hc industry 2. 7 million people are employed in office and admin jobs.
