Things that got you in a divorce in the first marriage probably didn"t go away in the second marriage. About 1 out of every 9 adult women in the u. s. is presently divorced. More than 1/3 of the children do not live with their biological father. Married men make more money than single men. After divorce, man has larger income than woman and often keep that money. Takes about 5 years emotionally, to get over divorce. Divorce is less shameful and easier to obtain. Three factors influence break ups: attraction, alternatives, and barriers. Attraction: the more attracted you are, less likely you are to divorce. Alternatives: the more tempting alternatives you have, the more likely you are to divorce.
