Document Summary
Lucas tozzi: behavioral risk factors are actions that increase the chances of disease, injury and premature death. Some examples: tobacco, diet, alcohol, firearms, sexual behavior, motor vehicles, some people have a disease prone personality which leaves them often depressed, anxious hostile and ill more often than others. They eat poorly, rarely exercise smoke more and stuff like that: the findings outline how we tend to associate ourselves with people who do similar activities and we tend to flock together and do the same stuff. Usually kept in situation due to attractive side and then the bad side causes distress. For example getting high school date with intimidating dad who threatens you. You would be ambivalent (mixed + and emotions): displaced aggression= placing your aggression in someone other than the actual source. For instance rather than lashing out at your boss you flip at your friend: scapegoating= a person or group is blamed for conditions not of their making.
