Aqua claudia and porta maggiore (part of the aqua claudia), c. 50 ac. Domus aurea (golden house of nero), by architect severus and engineer celer, 64-68 ac. Laoco n: group representing laoko n, priest of troy, and his two sons, being strangled by serpents because he warns the trojans not to accept the wooden horse left by the greeks. 1506 in a hole under a field over baths built on top of the domus aurea.
