Anthropology is global in scope: covers the whole world and is not constrained by geographic boundaries, now embrace the full scope of humanity across geography and through time. Anthropologists(cid:859) perspectives start with people and their local communities. Anthropologists believe that all humans are connected: share connections that are biological, cultural, economic, and ecological. Four-field approach: the use of four interrelated disciplines to study humanity: physical anthropology, archaeology, linguistic anthropology, and cultural anthropology: separate from each other, holistic approach for examining the complexity of human origins and human culture, past and present.
