Cytomegalovirus and herpes simplex 2 don"t have vaccines or treatments. Virus invades mother"s genital tract infects babies during pregnancy or birth. Mild or no symptoms or unfamiliar symptoms increased likelihood of contagion. Toxoplasmosis: found in many animals, transmitted by eating raw or undercooked meat or contact with feces of infected cats. First trimester eye and brain damage. Later infection milk visual and cognitive impairments.
