Family of procreation- formed when one marries and has children. Patrilocal- lives near husband"s father"s household after marriage. Matrilocal- lives near wife"s mother"s household after marriage. Jobs typically determine where they live in north america. Neolocality- post-marital residence in which married couples establish their own form of residence not living with either family. Typically lives in an expanded family household (including nonnuclear relatives) Extended family household- expanded family household includes three or more generations. Collateral household- siblings and their spouses and children.
