Individualism: priority to own goals over group goals; identity more in self than in the group. Collectivism: priority to goals of group over own goals; identity more in group than in the self. Sex: biologically influenced characteristic by which people define males and females: parts. Gender: socially influenced characteristics by which people define men and women. Aggression: verbal/physical behavior intended to harm someone physically/emotionally: men more likely to commit physical aggression, relational aggression: aggression meant to harm a person"s relationship/social standing.
