Conductivity response generates electrical impulse that travels along plasma membrane of muscle cell contraction. Contractility ability to shorten forcibly when stimulated. Extensibility ability to extend/stretch when relaxed. Elasticity ability to recoil/resume its resting length after being stretched. Cardiac muscles & smooth muscles of blood vessels responsible: Blood coursing through your body maintains blood pressure. Propelling substances through organs & associated tracts.
