Binocular cues-depth cues, such as reinal disparity (depend on use of 2 eyes) Reinal disparity-binocular cue for perceiving depth: compare 2 images & brain computes distance between them. Monocular cues-depth cues, such as interposiion and linear perspecive (each eye separately) Phi phenomenon-an illusion of movement created when two or more adjacent lights blink on and of in quick succession. Perceptual constancy-perceiving objects as unchanging even as illuminaion and reinal images change. Color constancy-perceiving familiar objects as having consistent color, even if changing illuminaion alters the wavelengths relected by the object.
