He reorganized the squadron based on where people"s skills and experienced could be best used; he clearly delegated authority to reduce confusion; and he worked out disagreements and assigned responsibilities. Within two months, effects of his changes were evident: his men began to see themselves as an essential part of a well-run organization; they took pride in their work; and morale and teamwork improved. Before long, the squadron became one of the most efficient.
