Adam and eve then have seth and the human race begins to grow: ten generations pass and humans become more evil. God laments his creation and favors noah for his good behavior. Ham, one of noah"s sons, tells his other brothers who cover their father without looking upon him. Noah condemns ham"s descendants (canaanites): many generations later, humans are bad again. In babylon they try to build a large tower to reach the heavens. God destroys it and scatters people across the earth and gives them different languages. Genesis 15-19: 15: god promises abraham descendants as numerous as the stars if he commits to him, 16: his wife sarai does not bear a child. She lets abraham have children with the slave. Sarai gets jealous so abraham gives hagar back to sarai and says she can do whatever she wants with her; sarai treats her badly.
