Regulators: internal mechanisms control internal change in face of external fluctuation. Conformers: allows internal condition to change in accordance with external changes. Homeostasis: steady state , a stimulus (drop in temp) triggers a sensor (thermostat) to return back to set point (20 degrees) with a response (turn on heater) Negative feedback: reduce the stimulus, sweating profusely after heating up with exercise. Positive feedback: childbirth, pressure increases helps baby expulsion.
