Describe how the spatial expression of genes, such as bmp4 and gremlin, affects pattern formation: pair of developmental genes influencing foot morphology of birds. Looking at chicken feet (separate toes) and duck feet (separate toes with webbing between them) How do these concepts relate to species formation: paedomorphism: juvenile characteristics. A group of organisms that maintains a distinctive set of attributes in nature.
