What is language: semanticity language represents a form of patterned information. Language has meaning; using complex sounds to translate meaning: displacement language is independent of time, so you can talk about past, present, and future. You can detach meaning from the here and now. You can detach meaning from the here and now: duality language is represented on two levels: the sounds of the language and its underlying meaning.
