Chys 2p51: introduction to qualitative research methods in child and youth studies. All interviewees are asked the same question (worded exactly the same) Interviewees are asked similar questions, but not worded the same way (wording is flexible) Ensure that the same general areas of information are covered. Questions asked to interviewees go with the flow. Using a qualitative research design methodology, in-depth interviews were conducted over a 2-month period with 60 women who attended the haematology clinic. A semi-structured interview guide adapted from cooper et al. [1] was used to explore childbearing desires and sexual and reproductive healthcare (srh) needs, and their influence on the childbearing decisions of women. Open-ended questions encourage respondents to describe feelings and tell stories. Leading questions are questions that lead interviews to a particular response. 5 7 participants: generally semi-structured questions. Intent to learn about motivations, decisions, priorities, opinions, etc.
