Deiniion sexuality (who): central aspect of being human and encompasses sex, gender ideniies, and roles, orientaion, eroicism, pleasure, inimacy and reproducion. Deiniion of sexual health: state of physical, emoional, mental, and social well being relate to sexuality, not merely the absence of disease. Intrinsically interesing, reveals human nature, reliable/valid ways to measure arousal (penile and vaginal plethysmographs- measures arousal), important social/health concerns: Teenage pregnancy rate, world populaion growth, contracepive issues. Sex is important to health even in absence of disease. So the study of romanic relaionships, sex orientaion, se over lifespan ect are impoprtant to health regardless of problems. Gender & sexuality: similariies (blood low to pelvic region, physiological reacions, feel same pleasures. Diferences (men more interested in casual sex, more partners, more masturbaion, more visual). (women, capacity for muliple orgasms, more romanic, aroused by context / lexible/luid sexuality.
