Most of the power come from discursive environments. How women talk in the past is the reason why they are not listened to now. Being heated/heard is important and depends on the way you speak. They weren"t really allowed to speak (in the past) Whole thought is carried through is all of the various linguistic philosophers. Act like a man and talk like a man; certain name. But talk in a feminine style; don"t get listened too. In order to be heard, women dressed as a man in order to be heard. They couldn"t hear on what is going on in latest ideas (ie. especially in coffee houses) Political issues of the day and how to control parliament and monarchy. Which means that mean took over the discourse and women couldn"t not be in it. Just recently that there are women reporters. Mostly men until fairly recently (slide 9)
