Ways of seeing learner langauge pedagogical responses: hypothesize about how these personal characteristics may impact language learning, consider how to treat these errors, reflect on these feature and whether they are developmental; is that a stage that everyone goes through, examine types of interactional feedback and their effectiveness, focus on activities to improve strategy use; teach people how to become more efficient and effective language learners, reflect on appropriate use of classroom tasks. Metalinguistic feedback: providing comments on how well formed learners language is grammatically elicitation: learner says what means this word; over prompt for the learner to self correct explicit correction: teacher clearly indicates learner"s utterance is incorrect and provides the correct form repetition: teacher repeats the ill formed utterance but with correct from highlighted by a change in intonation; teacher simply says the correct form; placing stress on the correct word/form.
