Document Summary

This week, the article by anderson et al. (1999) and the article by miller et al. (2006) focused their research almost entirely on biological and environmental influences, respectively, of behaviour and affect development. The feature of the article by anderson et al. (1999) that i found interesting was the comparison between the patient profiles and the typical profile of psychopathy. When i initially read the behavioural patterns that were being expressed by each patient, i thought the behaviours were fairly consistent with psychopathy due to the antisocial behaviours, lack of remorse and disregard for societal norms. With this comparison, i thought it would be interesting if a follow- up study examined participants with diagnosed psychopathy and compared them to early-onset participants in the current study in terms of neurobiological functioning and activity.
