Mcdonaldization: the process by which the principals of the fact food restaurant are coming to dominate more and more sectors of the american society as well as the rest of the world. Process - extends into virtually every aspect of society: ef ciency - optimum method for getting from point a to point b. However, it is done so in an orderly fashion (space, is cared for and managed) Rules and regulations help ensure ef cient work and space.
