English: sbo word order; s(ubject) + v(erb) + o(bject) An expression: any sequence of one or more words. Certain expressions require presence of another types of expressions for a grammatical sentence. Need a compliment (direct or indirect object) and subject. Verbs that must have a compliment are transitive verbs.
