Brickwall (authoritarian) parents who are high in terms of demandingness and low in terms of warmth or responsiveness, my way or the highway. Children of these parents often have social difficulties. Backbone (authoritative) high in terms of demandingness and high in terms of warmth or responsiveness, limit behavior but provide autonomy, best kind of parent, structure and expectations but flexibility and compromise. Children of these parents often grow up to be more socially confident. Doing things for them, intervening in various levels such as school grades, sports teams. Children at risk for; low self-confidence, poor coping skills, higher anxiety, sense of entitlement, under- developed life skills. Attractiveness mothers of very attractive infants are more affectionate and playful with their infants than mothers of infants with unappealing faces, this pattern continues through childhood with other adults as well.
