The tutoring industry has grown dramatically and has expanded their services to include "crash courses" - a fast-paced, intensive study session in hopes to cram the entirety of a course into two days (davies, 2004). Education is really important as it allows us to get a good, high- paying job in the future. Good academic performance necessary to achieve this, yet most students today tend to procrastinate, leading them to feel overwhelmed and unprepared for exams. In turns, students rely on crash courses to act as a means to get them up-to-date with their studies and do well on exams. With a high demand for these services, the industry is thriving (davies, 2004). These services are highly accessible, especially at the university level.
