Document Summary

Each vegetable misses one or two amino acids. Amino acids can come from our own tissue (our muscles) If you haven"t eaten in one week, your body will start to break down your own muscle tissue for amino acids. Salmon will store fat for a while to prepare for their large swim, and then when they burn off all their fat they begin to "eat themselves from the inside out" Fish has a lot of essential fatty acids. Used for building cellular membranes(put cells together, regenerates them) Need a very small amount of each vitamin. Disease can develop without enough vitamins (can become deficient) *eggs have everything you need to grow, but they do not have vitamin c* Carnivores have big large teeth to bite into animals. Herbivores have big molars to grind the plants. Carnivores (cheetahs) can eat a zebra once a week and hang on to it for a whole week.
