People make their own history, but not spontaneously, under conditions they have chosen for themselves, rather on terms immediately existing given and handed down to them". Structure are what pre-exist us; agency is what we can do, where we can move within reason. Some people think structure and agency are opposites; often one way or another. But in reality, we stand in the middle between structure and agency.
