Document Summary

Saving people b moving them to highways and such. These people were still left with no food or water. Most of them are black and poor who were left on the highway (several days) Those waiting on the highway were bored enough to walk towards the buses but were stopped by people with guns to leave the town. Not allowed to cross the bridge, even those who wanted to go and help the people on stuck on the bridge. Clearly a racist thing, those who thought that they were american citizens and not allowed to cross over into the areas. Many survived days without food and water after loosing all their belongings. Many people turned to violence because there were many people but not enough people to take care of. There were people shooting others and so the government sent in troops to protect .
