We covered the skull, the framework of the different regions that we need to put the organs in. The body orbit there are the big openings, and now, we understand that it"s like a. Funnel since it will leave to the optic canal. Like if it was a square pyramid (that fell over) with the apex being in the posterior aspect of our eye. The walls the pyramid is forming the orbit. The superior aspects of the orbit (the roof) it is the floor of our anterior cranial fossa where the frontal lobe is. The floor of our orbit is composed of our maxillary which is forming the roof of our nasal cavity. So, those 2 bones (the frontal and maxillary) are sub dividing different level anterior cranial fossa (frontal), then under there is the orbit which is over our maxillary bone. And, under our maxillary bone, there is the nasal cavity and maxillary sinus.
