Look at the slides on greenhouse gases* this is what ultimately causes the greenhouse effect and intensifies the climate. There is a table of gases, with anthropogenic sources as to where they originated from. *impact on the energy sector, if we concentrate too much on climate change. There are also graphs on slide 4, speaking about co2 emissions in hawaii. There has been an increase, and shifts in average global temperatures have also increased drastically. Most scientists believe this is a real issue that we need to cope with in someway. Climate versus weather: climate change - long-term significant change in the expected patterns of average weather of a specific region or earth as a whole over a significant period of time, weather shorter term fluctuations (yearly, seasonally). A lot of the impacts of climate change are affecting populations that are reliant on livelihood that are dependent on natural resources, and they are not wealthy.
