Animal sacrifice is the most complex, as it is the essential, symbolic act of the dinka. (302) The sacrifice of an essential being is the center of the ritual, makes it more important. A dinka sacrifice is in part, therefore, a drama of human survival (309) In order to sacrifice, you need a sacrificial community. This mutual regard is a condition of corporate life, and at sacrifices is strongly emphasized and reinforced (308)
