Purpose: we are batshaw and we are here today to propose a partnership with snc-lavalin. History: established in 1992, batshaw is a non-profit organization based in montreal that is part of the quebec health and social services. Our organization follows a provincial tradition of almost 200 years of service devoted to the welfare of children and their families. Size: since our conception in 1992, we have undergone significant expansions. 2014 fiscal year, our organization consisted of 720 full-time employees and received. ,000,000 in funding from the quebec ministry of health and social services. Pride: batshaw prides itself in being a support network to families of diverse backgrounds. We develop, support and maintain a network of placement settings, including residential rehab units. Our goal is to mediate problems that threaten the family unit, including spousal abuse, child abuse, and inadequate living conditions.
