It induces prejudices: everyone has the same rights; we are all born equals in this way. So multiculturalism means while we are different, those differences shouldn"t matter: you should recognize difference but not treat it differently. Difference does not mean deficiency: respect and dignify the difference. Multiculturalism also means that we want to learn about different people and different things: erc introduced- ethics and religious culture. Teaches about different perspectives: equity in multiculturalism. What we say as teachers greatly impacts students" identities.
