Think about the perspective in which we know, m of the narration. The life from which we see the world. Third-person narrative: the narrator is someone outside the story, refers to the characters. Omniscient pov: narrator knows everything that needs to be known about the agen and events, has privileged access to the characters. Intrusive narrator: reports, comments on and evaluates the actions and motive characters. These conventions are taken as authoritative by the reader, servin what counts as the true facts and values within the fictional world. Narrator is the story, but delivers commentary referring to himself as i Untrusive narrator: reports what happens without introducing own comment judgements. Limited pov: narrator tells the story in the third-person but stays inside the confines perceived, thought, remembered and felt by a single character, the character is the f narrator, his mirror image.
