A classical remedy is to rub it with radish, rub with potato then bury the potato: count the warts, put an equal number of stones in a bag and bury it, milky juice of the mexican poppy. In reality, 80% will disappear spontaneously in less than 2 years. What happens is that people use the remedy and think it makes the wart go away but in reality it was going to go away anyways. Need to look at how a drug has been evaluated and the evidence related to its therapeutic effect before deciding if a drug can be put on the market. Need to test two groups of people with the same problem, one group gets the drug and the other group gets a placebo: see the difference between the two groups.
